Popular actor Amit Mistry passed away after suffering from a cardiac arrest. The actor was a part of many TV shows and movies. He is best known for his roles in Shor in the City, Bandish Bandits, Yamla Pagla Deewana, Saat Phero Ki Hera Pheri, Tenali Rama, Kya Kehna and more. His sudden demise has left everyone in the industry shocked. From Jacqueline Fernandez, Kubbra Sait, Tisca Chopra, Sumeet Vyas and others, many celebrities took to their social media account to extend their condolences.

Taking to her Instagram stories, Jacqueline Fernandez shared a picture with the late actor and wrote, "Rest in Peace @actoramitmistry (crying emoticon)". Shekhar Suman who shared screen space with him in the series 'Saat Phero Ki Hera Pherie' took to his Twitter handle and wrote, "My co star in the series "Saath Pheron Ki Here Pheri" (2018) actor Amit Mistry died of a cardiac arrest this morning. Absolutely shocked to hear the news. A fairly young guy and a gifted actor. Will miss you buddy. Rip."

Kubbra Sait shared a picture of the actor and wrote, "You'll be missed on earth @Actoramitmistry Condolences to the family." Actress Nimrat Kaur also extended her condolences and wrote, "Prayers and heart felt condolences for the family and loved ones. Really so tragic.. what an untimely loss." Tisca Chopra expressed her shock and called him a lovely guy as she tweeted, "Shit. Such a lovely guy, totally chill..deepest condolences to the family... RIP #AmitMistry."
 Vir Das revealed that he was ready to start shooting a show that Amit Mistry was a part of. He further added, 'His talent, his insight were a thing to behold. We've lost a truly wonderful artist today. Rest in Peace." Sumeet Vyas, Mukesh Chhabra among others also offered their condolences.
